Toner Farms has some of the most productive land in the Province of New Brunswick and one of the best rotation programs in the potato industry. We only plant our fields in potatoes two out of every five years. This ensures that the topsoil stays put and is filled with nutrients and organic matter thus allowing good quality and high yield.
 
Resource management and especially soil and crop management is the most important factor in the production of quality potatoes.
 
These maps of the farms indicate that Toner Farms Ltd have miles of contours and waterways that allow for minimum run off of the soil and nutrients.  

 
   

Toner Farms Ltd is part of the New Brunswick Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) and are well on the way to meeting all the objectives of that plan.
 
There are five ultimate goals which we as producers feel must be attained to achieve the relationship they desire between the agriculture industry and the environment.
   
    A) Protect our natural water resources
    B) Preserve the land & soil to sustain agriculture
    C) Reduce the risk and provide benefits to the air environment
    D) Reduce the risk and provide benefits to bio-diversity
    E) Improve the public's understanding of New Brunswick's Agriculture industry

Toner Farms will continue to serve the potato industry for many years. Toner Farms is an important leader in the production of quality potatoes and are presently serving markets in Eastern Canada, Eastern United States, the Caribbean as well as highly recognized potatoe processing plants in Eastern Canada.
